Idle business game

A sunglasses stand. Then the whole island.

Mallorca: The Game is an idle business game. You play as Helmut, pick one industry, and grow it through eight towns. Businesses earn while their managers are at work. A new season turns that progress into Island Fame.

Free to play. Optional in-app purchases and advertising.

The iOS version is not in the App Store yet. There is no download link until that listing is public.

You play as Helmut

Helmut starts with a rack of sunglasses and a little more cash than a blank slate. The current version has one playable character. You choose the industry, and that choice stays for the whole save.

Where you can play

The Android app is on Google Play. The game is free to start. You can play without buying anything. The shop sells optional jewel packs, an ad-free option, a 30-day ad-free pass, and a monthly Cala VIP subscription. Prices are shown by the store before you confirm. Advertising can appear as rewarded clips and as interruptive ads. A purchase can reduce the interruptive ones. Rewarded clips can remain.

The loop, without the HUD

Three things carry a new game. Everything else — ladder, clothes, fiesta, league — hangs off them.

1

Build businesses

Each town has eight businesses for your industry, from a small stand to a company. You buy more of a business, and it pays out on a cycle.

2

Hire managers

Every business has one manager. Once hired, that business keeps running without you starting each cycle. Offline income depends on this.

3

Open the next town

Your industry walks the island in a fixed order. Only the next locked town can open, after you have built the current one and earned Island Fame in that career.

What the island looks like in the game

These are illustrations shipped with the game, not mock-ups made for this website. The app itself is a separate screen, with its own buttons and numbers.

Helmut stands behind a wooden rack of colourful sunglasses on a beach at sunset.
Nightlife starts Helmut on a sunglasses stand in Palma. The same character art opens the game.
A wooden beach snack stand with an orange awning, set between palms and two café tables.
Food & Drink begins at Playa de Palma. Fast cycles, and costs that run higher than the other industries.
Three bicycles on a quay, a small pier, and a white ferry, with a hillside town and an orange sun.
Experiences starts in Sóller: bikes, boats and trips rather than a bar.
A white villa with a turquoise pool, sun loungers and two orange umbrellas beside the sea.
Luxury & Hotels starts in Alcúdia. The way in costs more, and the first managers come later.

New season and Island Fame

When the town you are in has produced enough, New Season pays out Island Fame and resets that town: its cash, its businesses, and its seasonal cash upgrades. Other towns you already opened stay. Clothes, emblems, sun marks, and the Island Fame you hold stay too. You remain in the same industry. Held Island Fame raises profit. You can also spend fame on upgrades.

How a new season works

Island Ladder

The Island Ladder is a track of tasks in the town you are playing. Finishing a task gives a star. Stars open rewards: cash, island jewels, time warps, and clothes. Owning enough of a business also completes an island goal, and claiming that goal gives a star. The ladder is not a second game. It is the long checklist beside the businesses.

Clothes, not a costume shop

The Millionaire screen holds clothes and emblems: hats, jackets, trousers, and badges. You equip them in slots. Pieces can change profit or speed, and a full set can strengthen its own effect. The Tip-Top outfit is the ladder reward tied to 14 stars. This website does not list a best outfit. The pieces you own are the ones the game has already given you.

A club door manager with a black leather jacket and an earpiece, arms crossed beside a velvet rope. Purple and orange light behind her.
Two crossed yellow flags with teal poles and teal diamonds, the fiesta icon from the game.

A fiesta every 14 days

Fiestas are separate 14-day editions on their own calendar. They alternate. Sunstorm is a beach row: upgrades pay off if you focus one stall. The tram edition is a valley line: upgrades pay off if you open more stops and staff them. You join the edition that is running. Its coins stay inside the fiesta. What you claim — sun marks, Island Fame, short time warps, and collector pieces — comes back to the main game. While the fiesta clock is not confirmed, offline credit there stops at 24 hours.

Island league

The island league is in the current game. It is a weekly group, not a public world ranking you can browse without playing. A finished ladder task is worth 10 points, up to six a day. A finished daily goal is worth 15, up to three a day. Finishing all three daily goals adds 15 once that day. Points are recorded when the goal is finished, not when you collect the reward. Purchases, ads, prestige, changing town, and the fiesta do not score by themselves. Other signed-in players can see your chosen display name and your place. Your full save stays private. Placement rewards wait for the final result of the group.

Guest access, and what it does not do

Cloud save and the league use an anonymous guest account. You do not need an email address. This version cannot link Apple or Google. A new install or another device starts a new guest and cannot open the old profile. Store purchases stay on your store account, and you restore them from the shop. The game does not promise one login that carries the whole save across platforms.

Short answers

Is Mallorca: The Game free?

Yes. You can play without paying. Optional in-app purchases and advertising are part of the game.

Can I switch from nightlife to hotels later?

No. A save stays in the industry you started. Opening another industry is not a feature of the current game.

Will my town keep earning if I close the app?

Only if a manager is running a business, or a cycle was already in progress. With neither, a closed app earns nothing.

Is there an iPhone version?

An iOS build exists in the project. It is not a public App Store listing, so this site does not offer an iOS download.
